Linda Howard, LMSW

Linda Howard has 35+ years of experience. She is a fully licensed clinical social worker who specializes in working with clients who have experienced trauma along with those experiencing anxiety, depression and grief and loss issues. Linda has trained social workers in the Detroit Police Domestic Violence Unit to better handle violence and trauma. Linda has trained volunteers for both the St. Clair County Crisis Lines and Blue Water Hospice. She has spent many years as an outpatient therapist. She uses an eclectic approach, as each client is unique, that includes aspects of the following: Internal Family Systems, Brain Spotting, CBT, mindfulness and Emotional Freedom Therapy.

Sometimes we can get stuck in unhealthy ways of coping which might have served us well at one time in our lives but now that keep us from living as fully as we would like. Linda creates a safe place to work together to replace these unhealthy ways of coping and replace them with healthy ones so you can be more fully who you are.
